What is the Instagram Stories Update About?
Instagram Stories have a new update! IG is testing a new feature that would allow users to collapse a story after viewing only three slides. Simply put, your viewers will only get to see a three-story preview as a default — no matter the number of slides available to view.
However, the number of Stories you’re allowed to post shouldn’t change, your viewers will just need to click “show all” on the left-hand side of the screen [below your username] to view all your Stories.
Note: As of the time of writing, the Instagram Stories update hasn’t been officially launched and only a select number of users currently have access.
